托福閱讀突破高分指南

廣大參加托??荚嚺嘤?xùn)的人都知道,托福閱讀有三篇文章,與老托福不同的是,考生不需要在答題之前通讀全文,而是在做題的過程中分段閱讀文章。每篇文章對應(yīng)有11道試題,均為選擇題。除了最后一道試題之外,其他試題都是針對文章的某一部分提問,試題的出現(xiàn)順序與文章的段落順序一致。最后一題針對整篇文章提問,要求考生從多條選擇項中挑選若干項對全文進行總結(jié)或歸納。新一代托福閱讀文章的篇幅比老托福閱讀文章的篇幅略長,在此時限中考生可以復(fù)查、修改已遞交的答案。如何突破閱讀獲得高分呢?給出以下幾點建議:

1、足夠豐富的詞匯量

不管什么類型的英語考試,詞匯量是最基本的要求,閱讀需要一定數(shù)量的詞匯積累,對于托福考試來說,尤其是閱讀部分,至少需要有7000個詞匯量左右,當(dāng)然如果可以詞匯量越多越好,差不多跟六級詞匯量一樣。英語閱讀考察的是一個英語輸入能力,對文章語句的理解貫通,有豐富詞匯的基礎(chǔ)之下,就要可以進入翻譯的過程了。文義的轉(zhuǎn)換的,有選讀、跳讀、、默讀、尋讀、研讀等等。如果詞匯量足夠,大致可以理解出現(xiàn)的詞匯和題型;而且閱讀的速度也是跟詞匯量的熟練程度有關(guān)的,詞匯量越多越熟悉,答題速度越快。托福語法也對英語詞匯量有要求。
