現(xiàn)在幾點(diǎn)了？

（一）問時(shí)間

問時(shí)間時(shí)，一般要用到''time''這個(gè)詞，這里的''time''指''a particular point in time shown on a clock in hours and minutes''（鐘表上顯示的具體時(shí)間）。

1. What time is it?

例：

'What time is it?'? 'It's about two thirty.' （-現(xiàn)在幾點(diǎn)了？ -2:30左右。）

What time are you going out tonight? （你今晚打算幾點(diǎn)出去？）

2. What time do you make it? (= used to ask someone with a watch what time it is ) 用于問戴表的人“幾點(diǎn)了？”

（二）表示時(shí)間

1. o'clock: use this when the time is exactly a particular hour ……點(diǎn)

例：

It's 5 o'clock. （現(xiàn)在5點(diǎn)。）

It's exactly 10 o'clock. （現(xiàn)在10點(diǎn)整。）

2. bang on/dead: use this to say that it is exactly a particular time ……點(diǎn)整

備注：''bang on/dead''是英式英語中非正式的用法。

例：

"What time is it?" "Bang on midnight."（-幾點(diǎn)了？? -午夜12點(diǎn)整。）

We finished bang on eight, and we were back home by nine. （我們8點(diǎn)整完工，9:00到家。）

補(bǔ)充：''bang on/ dead''原意都是表示''exactly (right)''，

如：

例：

It doesn't get dark until about twenty to ten. （晚上9:40左右天才黑。）

例：

8. it's getting on for: use this to say that it is almost a particular time, especially when you are guessing what time it might be 可能快……點(diǎn)了吧

例：

It's getting on for five o'clock. （可能快5點(diǎn)了吧。）

I should think it's getting on for ten by now. （我想現(xiàn)在可能快10點(diǎn)了吧。）
