連讀、弱讀是美語發(fā)音的一個特點(diǎn),如果想讓自己的口音聽上去更地道,或者想讓自己的耳朵更靈敏,這就是必須要知道的現(xiàn)象。

1. 弱讀:
在一個句子的所有單詞中,若某個單詞以/t/,/d/,/k/,/g/,/p/,/b/結(jié)尾,這些音將被省略掉。
略讀要領(lǐng):音不在,位置在,送氣不發(fā)聲。
例:help me
bad boy
I don’t like them.
sit still
2. 連讀:
(1)一個句子所有的單詞發(fā)音中,如果某一個單詞的結(jié)尾是輔音,相鄰下一個單詞的開頭是元音,則這兩個音可以連起來讀。簡稱“輔+元=連”
例:I’m^an^English
boy.
It^is^an^ old book. (根據(jù)弱讀規(guī)則,結(jié)尾的/d/,/k/弱讀)
(2)連讀特例:詞尾有/u/的,加上半元音/w/。
例:flew^in the
sky
How^old
too^easy
3. 濁化
美音中,當(dāng)/t/出現(xiàn)在兩個元音之間并且處于非重讀位置的時候,/t/需要濁化成一個近似于/d/的音。這樣,writer聽起來和rider 的發(fā)音幾乎沒有區(qū)別。如:
water 發(fā)音/w?:d?/
better 發(fā)音/bed?/
city 發(fā)音/sidi/
I got^it. 發(fā)音/g?di/ (根據(jù)弱讀規(guī)則,結(jié)尾的/t/弱讀)
Would you please pick^it^up? 發(fā)音/pikid?/ (根據(jù)弱讀規(guī)則,結(jié)尾的/p/弱讀)
4.省音:任何一個輔音,若后面緊跟著/h/,/h/可以不發(fā)音。如:
例:Come here!
備注:這里只列舉幾條和下面的例子關(guān)系密切的原則。類似的原則還有很多,大家可以自己找資料自己總結(jié),記憶更深刻。
