英語習(xí)語大掃盲，分享一些常用的英語習(xí)語
看美劇時經(jīng)常聽到劇中人物說出一些令人耳目一新 短語，如果不看字幕還真不知道是什么意思。尤其是當(dāng)他們引用俚語習(xí)語時，不了解他們的文化背景就會聽得一愣一愣的。以下羅列以下美劇中常見的習(xí)語，看看你都知道幾個？
To have a cast iron stomach – to have no problems eating or drinking anything.
有個鐵胃——吃、喝任何東西都沒問題。

To drink like a fish–to drink heavily.
像魚一樣能喝——海量
Eg：he is drinking like a fish!

The lights are on but nobody’s home – used to describe a stupid person.

除非豬都會飛了——表示某事永遠(yuǎn)都不會發(fā)生，絕無可能。
