“今天我請客!”這句話經(jīng)常聽到,豪爽至極,英語中怎么表達這個意思呢?

1. something be on meused when you are telling someone you will pay for their drinks, meal etc. 某個東西我買單

例:

1Order whatever you like--this is on me.(喜歡什么盡管點,今天我請客。)

2Put your money away--the drinks are on us.(你把錢收起來,飲料錢我們給。)

3)美劇《老友記》S01E14:情人節(jié),JoeyChandler約了兩個女生一起進行double-date,結(jié)果Joey和他的女伴要先走,Joey覺得對不住Chandler,于是說“這頓飯我請!”。

7. pick up the tab: to pay for something, especially when it is not necessarily your responsibility or duty to do this表示“不一定有義務(wù)要付錢,可是卻付錢了”

例:
