1. Refuse：拒絕，不愿

Reject：拒絕，排斥，抵制

例：

I can’t refuse to work for him. I have no choice.

我不能拒絕為他工作。我別無選擇。

The author refused to make any comments in the meeting.

這個作家拒絕在會議上發(fā)表任何意見。

No matter who want help him, he rejects all the time.

不管是誰想幫助他，他一直拒絕。

Repel：拒絕，排斥

例：

The young lady repulsed his proposal.

5. A flat refusal：斷然拒絕
