say這個(gè)小小的詞，固定用法還真不少，這部分我們再來介紹一些和say相關(guān)的口語表達(dá)。

1. say
cheese: 這個(gè)最簡單不過了，照相的時(shí)候，我們說“茄子”，老外說''cheese''，咧嘴大笑一下吧！

2. say your
piece: to give your opinion about something,
especially something you do not like 把你的觀點(diǎn)說出來（尤其是發(fā)表反對意見）
例：
You are so quiet in the discussion; you
need to say your piece.（你討論時(shí)太沉默了，說出你的觀點(diǎn)吧?。?/span>

3. wouldn't say boo to a goose: used
to describe a shy quiet person形容人特別害羞
例：
She wouldn't say boo to a goose. But she's really come
out of her shell since she went to college.（她太害羞了。但她上大學(xué)后，就沒那么害羞了。）
這里補(bǔ)充一個(gè)習(xí)語：come
out of one's shell，或者bring sb out of his shell，意思是“變得不太害羞，愿意跟別人交談”。
從“不愿意跟鵝說話”到“可以從自己的殼里爬出來”，真是個(gè)不小的進(jìn)步呢！

4. easier said than done: used to
say that something would be difficult to do形容某事不易做
例：
Finding the perfect house is easier said
than done.（找個(gè)適合的房子，說起來容易，做起來難。）

5. No
sooner said than done. ?used to say that you will do something immediately 說到做到；馬上就做；立馬完成。

6. enough
said: used to say that something is clear, and does
not need to be explained any further 事情很清楚了
例：
''Then I saw Jill coming out of Alex's
apartment.'' ''Enough said.''
（“然后我看見Jill從Alex家里出來?！薄?/span>
再清楚不過了。”）
備注：''enough
said''與'上一部分講過的'say no more''用法類似。

7. It goes
without saying...：used to say that something is so clear that it does not really need
to be stated 毋庸置疑
例：
It goes without saying that a well-rested
person is a better worker. （休息好才能工作好，這點(diǎn)毋庸置疑。）
注意：enough said和It goes without saying...表達(dá)的意思差不多，但是用法不同，前者是口語用法，可單獨(dú)成句；后者要用在完整的句子里。

8. Needless
to say...：used when
you are telling someone something that they probably know or expect毋庸置疑，毫無疑問，很明顯
例：
Needless to say, any contributions of money
will be gratefully received.（我們當(dāng)然會(huì)欣然接受所有捐款。）
Needless to say, we should be dressed
neatly when interviewed.（面試時(shí)當(dāng)然應(yīng)該穿戴整齊。）
注意：Needless to say..是個(gè)副詞短語，可用of course, naturally, without doubt,
undoubtedly, obviously代替。

9. not say
a word/ not breathe a word: 守口如瓶；一言不發(fā)
例：
Promise you won't say a word to anyone. （答應(yīng)我，你會(huì)守口如瓶。）
What's wrong? You haven't said a word since
you got here.（怎么了？到這兒后你怎么一言不發(fā)？）
補(bǔ)充：讓人保守秘密還有幾種說法：
①You gotta
promise you'll never, ever tell sb/anyone else.
②This just stays between us, right?

10. When
all's said and done...: used to remind sb about an
important point that needs to be considered提醒對方注意某一點(diǎn)
例：
When all's said and done, he's only a kid. （說到底他只是個(gè)孩子。）
