''party''可以跟哪些動(dòng)詞搭配使用?

主要有以下四大塊:

一、開(kāi)派對(duì)

1. have a party/get-together/reception etc.:

例:

We used to have a big Christmas party every year.(我們以前每年都要辦大型圣誕派對(duì)。)

The couple had their wedding reception at the Museum of Modern Art.(這對(duì)夫妻在現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)博物館舉辦婚宴。)

2.throw a party: to have a party at your home

例:

1. go to/come to a party, attend a party:

備注:''attend a party''是比較正式的說(shuō)法。

例:

Are you going to Tom's party? (你會(huì)去湯姆的派對(duì)嗎?)

About 500 people will attend a party in her honor.(這個(gè)為她舉辦的派對(duì),大約有500人會(huì)來(lái)。)

2. gatecrash a party: 不請(qǐng)自來(lái)、混入派對(duì)

1. a party is in full swing (= people at a party are having a good time talking, dancing etc. )
